Give it a rest, why do you put people heartache on here. It is onething to post pictures and have fun, but my personal life is not a gossip blog. I obviously have you as a friend on facebook and I made a mistake for friending you. A friend of mine would know how much Vinny and I cared and loved each other.

The thing is that this is not a question of "reporting the facts". It's a question of privacy and common sense.
I would understand the dilemma in trying to negotiate facts vs. privacy if gg were a widely-established tabloid, or a People Magazine for the gay web. It's not.
Sure, gg is a gossip blog/website, and people do go on here for gossip--including me. But as James took the time to explain, this is more than gossip, and I'd imagine that most, if not all of us, don't rely on an exposure of our deeply private lives for a paycheck or an ego boost.
Emotional intelligence goes a long way here, guys. If there's any question that something's too personal for someone, then just ask around. Get a second opinion. Be an investigator. If you can't get confirmation or a sure feeling that it would be cool, then why not hold back a little on exposing people's private stuff on here? We can still sensationalize and gossip a little without humiliating one another, can't we?
Otherwise the rep of gg just becomes questionable, and that's not so good for business (or the league).
Just a thought.
