Is reason for us to show up. BAD! kicked off the season at HK Lounge and boy did it just go down hill from there. From the open bar from 9-10 to trying to remember what teams people were on, we just think it was all a little bit much. The name tags definitely helped when we couldn't remember our own names, but honestly it was just a rip roaring out of control night. We would expect nothing less.So after sizing up the competition and figuring out what team everyone was on, we immediately grabbed another drink and saw A LOT of cute newbies. Who would have thunk all of those football boys would join the dodgeball league?? We get it that BAD! is getting popular but now other leagues are trying to get in on the action. We will not be having any of that.
One person we did not expect to be trying to get in on the dodgeball boys was Michael Urie of Ugly Betty. We saw him there and wondered what the hell he was doing at the party! Apparently the same thing we were, looking for a little bit of action. Well good luck Michael, because if you can't throw a ball hard, you will probably strike out with a lot of the boys you were eyeing.
So we saw our fair share of hookups, c'mon when Paul the Commissioner is getting cozy in the corner and not running his mouth off, you think we wouldn't notice? We danced on the stairs with Weeks and we think he should totally go-go in these hard economic times. Although he totally wore us out and after examining the after-party situation we headed over to Barrage. What we didn't expect was Happy Hour from 11-12. Score! We don't remember much other than the fact that we saw newbies making out hard core on the dance floor, we maybe got a little excited Vinny and RJ showed up without their boyfriends, and drinks were mad cheap. We do however remember making a hasty exit to Posh where we continued the dodgeball tradition of the after after party. You know those dodgeballers can never be satisfied with just one after party, and that's why we love them. xoxo
